TATA launched its new generation of HARRIER , well it’s sibling Safari made on harrier’s platform but today we are here for harrier . Tata harrier built on inspiring the Range Rover Velar and
on JLR 8 ( Omega arc ) platform . In this new generation we didn’t get any big changes ,  we get 17 inch dual tone diamond cut alloy wheels and
also get a BS6 engine with automatic gearbox and some cosmetic changes . In new harrier we get Tata’s 2.0 l kryotec engine with 168 BHP of power and 350 NM of torque with 6 speed manual
and automatic transmission options , with 13-15 claimed average fuel economy . It’s length is 4598 mm and width is 1894 mm , height is 1706 mm , with this dimensions harrier gets muscular appeal . In the
17inch alloys with 205 mm ground clearance it goes anywhere and absorb any things . This platform is also capable for 4WD and electric configuration . In interior we get a big panoramic sunroof
which is biggest in the segment , a aircraft style parking brake , 8.8 inch touchscreen infotainment system with 9 speakers JBL system with amplifier with subwoofer ,
digital instrument cluster with analogue speedometer , drive modes ( Eco, sport, city ) , terrain modes , 8 ways powered adjustable driver seats ,
automatic climate control , cooled glove box , push start button , 405 L of boot space  and many more .
We also gets projector HID automatic headlamps with rain sensing wipers , keyless entry , LED taillights , rear view parking camera with parking sensors ,
LED turn indicators on ORVM , front disc brakes etc . In safety we get all the features from the standards like traction control , ABS with EBD ,DRVM ( driver rear view monitor ), 6 airbags ,
EBD , brake assist , ESP , hill hold control and more . In harrier Tata recently launched a dark edition and Camo edition , in this two edition we didn’t get any changes in engine but we get a
new colour options in theme , in dark and camo edition we get all black alloys with some cosmetic changes . In harrier we get 5 colour options .

3) Atlas Black 
4) Calypso Red 
5) Camo Green 
This harrier cost rupees from 13.90 lakhs to 20.45 lakhs ( ex-showroom ) , it rival to its sibling Tata safari  , MG Hector , jeep compass , Hyundai creta , Kia seltos  , Citroen C5 aircross  . We missed some features at this price point like ventilated seats , all led headlamps , heads up display , bigger touchscreen infotainment system , electrically seat  adjusts for co-driver , electric parking brake , electronic tailgate , paddle shifters , 360 degree parking camera , but we hope that we get this in its next generation . But overall this is a good package with a useful features and great price .

Last year Kia motors debut in India with there compact suv seltos , after this big victory Kia recently launched its sub4 meter compact suv SONET . This segment is very crowded with lots of difference in features and also in price range . Recently Kia makes an update on it with some added features like paddle shifters , new Kia logo , rear sunshades , voice command and many more . Coming to the sonet , it gets 25 variants with lots of transmission options - manual , Torque converter , DCT , IMT . Under the hood it gets 3 engine options - 1.0 litre petrol engine , 1.2 litre Petrol engine  , 1.5 litre Diesel engine with redlines at 3000 to 3500 RPM , Kia claimed that sonet gets dual digit numbers average at all engine and gearbox options .
